Westra Boarding Kennels & Cattery is long-established. It began in 1970 as a small family business employing one member of staff and casual weekend workers. It has developed into a medium-sized business employing five permanent members of staff. The staff expands to six for the summer season. We are licensed for 77 dogs and 46 cats.

Over the years we have always been looking for ways to improve the service we give to our customers and have recently completed the third stage of our plan to renovate and improve the kennels.

We have built two new blocks of kennels, which are spacious, light and airy, but at the same time, warm as they are double-glazed. The main kennel building has also been renovated to provide good accommodation. The inside was gutted, walls taken down and new kennel fronts put in place so that the boarders have more room. We are rather proud of what we have achieved.
